My Android phone is activating reader or door at too long a distance

If you have issues with your android phone activating readers at too far a distance - i.e. when walking near a door but not wanting to go through the door

1. Open your 5dkey android app

2. Click on the settings cog wheel bottom right 

Change the leashing sensitivity down one or two settings and test the range.
